[FORMAT] Personnel Commendation

Post by Vincent Trucchio »

Internal Affairs Bureau The Internal Affairs Bureau is responsible for handling the department's legal affairs, complaints, commendations and internal disciplinary appeals. As such, it is tasked with ensuring employee commendations are handled properly and sworn deputy and auxiliary staff are rewarded for providing exemplary services to those they are sworn to serve and protect. The Los Santos Sheriff's Department is proud to have employees committed to serving the citizens of Red County through teamwork, understanding and excellence and we want to ensure that Los Santos County's finest are recognised for the work they do to keep the community safe.
Commendation Process A commendation may be filed at any police station, via the website, or by sending a letter to the Internal Affairs Bureau. You may choose to file this commendation anonymously, but please note that you may not be contacted if there are no contact details submitted. Once filed, the commendation will be reviewed by the Internal Affairs Bureau. Alternatively, the Internal Affairs Bureau may forward the commendation to another bureau/division/unit within the department so that they are handled by their respective command staff.

We ask that you provide as much information as possible so that we are able to judge the situation to the best of our abilities. Whilst we very much strive for our deputies to perform above and beyond the call of duty, we aim to investigate all commendations to ensure the awards we give stand out for their intended purposes and not as an empty award.
Commendation Form All commendations should be submitted via email or letter to the Internal Affairs Bureau by completing the following form:
